  During a recent cleaning, they broke my permanent retainers. Dr. Friedman simply blamed it on the fact that they were bound to break anyway and although he knew what it would cost me to replace them, with my orthodontist, made no gesture to pay for the mistake. Simple stuck to the 'they were going to break anyway and I'm sorry' attitude. Where are the ethics and accountability standards?
